Ioannidis, MD, DSc, professor of Medicine, of Health Research and Policy, of Biomedical Data Science and of Statistics at Stanford University, discusses the challenges of evidence-based medicine with regard to lifestyle and nutrition. He evaluates various levels of evidence and explores the importance of quality, significance, reproducibility and feasibility. He also explains the complexities related to nutrition and lifestyle research and lays the foundation for responsibly establishing the evidence in this area.
